What a fruitful Sunday morning! Finished the chapter on mitral stenosis in "250 Cases in Clinical Medicine" - what a gem of a book that is! Decided that at the very worst, if I can't get myself to read the huge text, I'd at least know this little handbook in detail. Perhaps it's time to tackle mitral regurgitation later? We'll see ... still lethargic somewhat.

Also measured the parameters of my tank, and surprisingly nothing big happened. And that's considering I haven't done any water changes for the last 3 months (or is it more?) and fed the tank rather heavily due to the 5 lyretail anthias inside - the skimmer's not been producing a lot of foam either. Ca 420ppm, nitrate 25mg/L, but phosphate's a little high though, 0.30. Guess I bought the wrong phosphate test kit, since it's ultra-sensitive and I'm pretty sure the real levels in the tank's much higher than that. Wondering if it's time to add some carbon. OK then, I shall do that later. Added a tub of Ca(OH)2 this morning and a little sodium bicarb to the tank.

Gah, I hate Sundays. Especially when I know what the mood will be later in the evening. Frankly, it's not unlike the feeling during NS days. The irritating, restless feeling. Will be worse this week I think. At least the schedule isn't too packed this week, I get 2 afternoons off to clerk patients for practice. Oh, thank goodness for that - I need to submit another writeup by Fri. And Tues night's the final lesson of the lindy beginner's class, I shall need to talk to the members about them joining the club officially and continuing with further lessons. This is a bit heavy, really. When I really should be focusing all my energy on studies!

Aircon's being frightful. Been dripping all night, and I had to evacuate my books from the shelf. Crazy thing - sometimes it's freakishly cold and sometimes it just drips nonstop. Time to get the repairman? Better not tell my dad - he'd want to meddle with it, and other than just asking me to run around getting screwdrivers and stuff, he'd just make a worse mess out of it.
