Feeding frenzy!
Fishies chomping on my home-made concoction. Took a bunch of meaty seafoods (shrimp, mackerel, squid, clams and salmon), chopped in the food processor and added amino acid supplements, nori, fish flakes and frozen mysis shrimp.
Stupid clownfish keeps taking the huge bits of squid. Only reason why I bought this clown was to appease my mom ... somehow she's very attached to clownfish. And now she's nagging at me to get an anemone for it, and I'm tying to convince her that an anemone would eat up my lyretail anthias. The one in the middle shot doesn't do these lovely fish justice!! This one's a female (the male in the tank is much more ornate, and of a different colour). Female lyretail anthias are also called Blue-eye anthias due to the electric-blue "eyeshadow" they have above the eyes. Anthias are really amazing fish (though my mom thinks they are boring!). They school in a specific pecking order with an alpha male and an alpha female calling the shots. Should the alpha male die, the alpha female will undergo sex change to replace him!
OK, reminds me of a certain patient. But that's really so mean. Shhh!
