New acquisitions!
New livestock bought on Tues - the "prata coral" (Scolymia sp.) on the left is absolutely stunning. The pic doesn't do it justice, but this one glows with a fiery green even under 20,000K lights (about 480nm). It's unbelievable under actinic lighting (420nm).
At the top is the new electric blue clam, T.crocea. Compare the colour to my huge old T.squamosa on the right! T.crocea is a rock-boring clam that doesn't use byssal threads, so it comes with its own piece of rock.
Yx very kindly helped me do a 10% water change last night; she was the witch stirring a cauldron. Yes, yes .. the easy job. Stirring the salt, making sure salinity is correct. Still, it's already a great help- we finished the arduous task in 20mins!
My eldest sis is singing non-stop ... she has some singing test today I think. Eww. Sounds eerie. (I'm just a tiny bit short of saying "creepy")
