Autumn?

Ah, rare picture!! This is the only N.ampullaria site ever found on Kent Ridge. Some 3 years ago a few of us were very puzzled - we found a single hybrid of N.(ampullaria x gracilis) but yet could not find a single N.ampullaria plant!

Now, there are less than 10 N.ampullaria plants scattered in this 50 x 50 metre area, and this pic shows on of this species' famous aerial pitchers. They pop up of nowhere from the climbing stems, and look really lovely. The dying tree leaves behind really make it look like autumn! Unintended picture effect ...
