Feeling nice and relaxed today, woohoo!!!! No tutorials, so I'll prolly drop by CGH (at my leisure, for once) to talk to a patient I intend to writeup on. Did intensive reading yesterday during lunch at the library, but some goon borrowed ALL the big Apleys from the RBR section. Ended up going back to the lib after lessons at 5.30pm to zap it.
Tonight's dance .. I'll be alone. Not really, but my regular partner (although there's really no such thing as a regular partner in Lindy) won't be there. Will dance with the new girl, Cheryl, then! She is amazing, I still say. Who the hell learns complicated aerials within 1 day when they are still raw and fresh, without taking a Lindy beginner's course? I'm just happy that I managed to get the 3 new people to join our performance group, and eventually hand the club over to them. Time for drastic action on publicity ... got to talk to the dear treasurer about my publicity budget.
Spotted first signs of cyanobacteria in my tank! This is bad - think I'm overfeeding. A bit of good news though - I think I've found the perfect food! My parents are really into the game now (not really, I'm the one doing all the work while my dad still claims credit when friends praise MY tank) and they intentionally chose crabs with roe when they got them. Now I have loads of crab eggs! All my seafans love the eggs, and best of all, the "coral for rent" (Dendronepthya) was seen taking the eggs too! Crossing fingers right now, with a bit of luck it might survive and I'll definitely be writing an article if it does. Doesn't help that I'm under immense pressure from both yx and my sis xuan who insist I keep it alive, even when I've warned them that most do not last beyond 3 weeks. "My favourite coral is that nice pinky one!", says xuan when I asked her. At my 1 week mark for Dendronepthya now, hope it pulls through the 3 week critical period!
Now come to think of it, I'm hesitating about going to CGH. Hmmm.
