Oh Yesssss ...

Did some good work today! Touched up on my writeup, still have the short case to do. =\ Sickening. But anyway, I clerked a nice long case of lumbar stenosis! And also a positive spinal Phalen test on him too, it's been special talking to that nice gentleman. Rarely do you see such lovely patients who are so educated about taking care of themselves, and I actually chatted with him about his grandchildren and children and everything else under the sun. Feeling good. I think it's really cool if we had the time to really get to know our patients as people like this.

Wanted to talk to a man with osteoarthritis of the knee, but he was sleeping. Got abandoned by the girls, hahaha .. no lah, they went for OT, and I don't think the guys came today.

What's up with nice people again today? One of the housekeeping ladies took the same staff lift as me and I offered her a smile. She started chatting full-blast and was really very encouraging. Made me feel really good too, since she didn't think med students are pesky little things (unlike some people in other hospitals ...). Quite the contrary! =D
