Simple Elegance

The man who grows this Heliamphora nutans is a lucky man indeed! Looking good eh? I only have 1 Heliam hybrid in my garden, and even that is not flourishing in our sweltering heat. Helies are some of the most primitive CPs ever - no more than just a rolled-up leaf collecting water to trap insects, with a nectar spoon on top to attract them. Why? Why are they only found in Venezuela and not Singapore?
