Arghh .. just back from 2 branches of Cold Storage. Loads of people doing their X'mas dinner shopping. OK, got the menu ready, hopefully things turn out ok. Decided on pork tenderloin instead, it's marinating in the fridge now. Bouillabaisse materials all cleaned and ready for cooking at 4pm too. The horrid brown mussels stank up the car. Bought the wrong fruit, almost as kaput a blunder as Mr. Ye's steamed mangoes. I bought nectarines instead of peaches!! Intended to carve them out, freeze them and stuff with sorbet, but nectarines' stones as so difficult to remove, I destroyed half of them and ate yet another quarter of them.

Right. No decorations except 8 candles just for ambience.

No X'mas present either. DEEP SHIT.
