Just back from the test, i got very very very lucky. OMG ... don't know who to pray to... Dr.Matthew Cheng is a beautiful man. One of those positive-teaching types, who don't talk you down. *cough*Pho*cough*
For my long case, I got a diabetic foot. And for short cases (and they were really SHORT. 2 mins per case??) I actually had 4 instead of 3 but I'm ain't complaining. Xray of OA knee, Xray of intertrochanteric fracture (totally goofed up on this one), a functional brace (what is it and what's the function?) and an external fixator across the ankle joint (what is it for?) Think all 3 of us passed! yay! 3 cheers for all the nice docs in the world!!
For the intertroch # he whipped out the xray and said, "tell me about it in 1 sentence". Erm ... I couldn't see anything wrong. Only could see a disrupted Shenton's line, and wasn't even very sure of it. Well, the "gold standard" answer according to him, was "a 2-part intertrochanteric fracture in an osteoporotic lady, that is undisplaced and with no evidence of a pathological cause." Erm ... reach for the stars, anyone?
All limp from the anxiety. Think I looked very worried, according to Rames. I was!
