Right, all these posts about D2 - basically that's what we've been doing with our meet-ups online, and talking about her nice suite-mates. Current status is we're getting slaughtered if there are lightning immunes around (ie immune to yx's massive lightning damage from her traps) or if there are lightning enchanted monsters (ie eat right through our low lightning resistances). So far the baddies are just beetles - when they die, they emit lightning bolts and I'm forced to switch to my Salvation aura, which is a defensive aura that increases our resistances by 113%. Which then means I am on the defensive, not offensive, and can hardly kill. Very weak point in my character. Thinking of switching my helmet (Guillaime's Face) to a Rockstopper, since it provides huge resistances. Killing speed will be down, but at least I can survive, I hope.

Oh gosh .. I can't even imagine Act 5 Hell. Those Gloams. Little wispy things that shoot bolts and bolts of lightning, the archnemesis of every character in the game.

And after this .. ah. Provided yx and I still have spare time, we'll be making new characters. I'm thinking of an Avenger Paladin, who uses Vengeance as a combat skill (adds elemental damage) and Conviction as his aura (decreases monster's resistances). I'm more or less done with almost all types of ranged attackers, so just stepping into the world of melee fighting. Yx - a sorceress for you? ;) Or even a Pally! haha .. 2 Paladins running around.
