Right. Things are finally starting to get just a little more normal now, she's finally got her net connection and we spent the entire morning chatting! The webcam's not too bad, and it gets pretty funny sometimes. Candid camera ... OK, being mean, but another nice thing happening, Mr. Ye did something extremely unbelievable and bold last night. =D
May get into dreadful trouble for not turning up for the factory visit, but really, honestly I DO NOT feel like I need to visit any more factories. My dad's factory has all the health dangers/precautions you could ever want, from ammonium fumes in the chicken cage holding area, to bird flu possibility, to hypothermia from the ice water soak and deep freezer, even diesel fumes at the fuel top-up area.
Got to make sure I don't fall asleep again today though, really must make it to today's CHP meeting.
I carried Brownie onto my lap so she can see him, and the little boy started looking frantically around for yx and tried to scramble onto the table and peep behind the curtains (we usually hide in blankets for him to find). Poor boy .. he doesn't know what's happening. Was asking me yesterday why no Jie Jie came to scratch his tummy for the past 2 days.
Think the initial part of being in a foreign country all by herself is starting to wear off now, but the food there's still awfully dear (6 usd for a bowl of noodles!) and not good to eat at all.
OK, feeling sleepy. Will chance a short 1 hr nap and set the alarm CORRECTLY - PLUS get my mom to wake me too.
