Baby blue .. my first attempt!
Yep, Mr. Conservation's first attempt at dividing mushroom corals. This was the Ricordea florida fragment I cut off the main mushroom I bought a few days ago, and I think I imagine seeing a new mouth already forming.
What's the toothpick for?
Haha .. ingenious idea. The silly thing was slimy after I cut it off, and refused to stick to the rock. So I kneaded a small ball of epoxy, stuck it to the rock. Then while the epoxy was still soft and curing, I pierced the mushroom frag with the toothpick and anchored it down to the epoxy.
2 days later, the frag took a foothold on the rock, and plied itself off the toothpick. Nice, simple and easy.
