Garden Appreciation Day

For some odd reason, my dad never really did notice the garden until the asiatic lilies started blooming. He went on the rampage today, taking "artistic" photos with various people posing with the lilies. ODD. The power of lilies. Whole garden is perfused with the scent of a mere 4 lily flowers!! One of the best stuff on earth. I decided to up it even more by asking him to sweep his hand around in my Pelargonium bush, and got him to smell his hand .. hahahahahahaha. He loved the smell!

He decided to get friends over for some beer tonight. To show off "his" garden, no doubt!

Pity my Paraphalaenopsis just finished blooming, else it'd have been quite a sight! New solution - repot my poor Coelogne plant into proper soil, it's now growing on Osmunda fern bark. And once that flowers - ahhhh. A whole basket of pendulous, green, fragrant orchids. How good can life get?

Decided not to go ahead with the calcium reactor. It can buy me quite a few dance lessons.
