Just back from Reef2's house, went to collect a pumping xenia fragment. It really PUMPS!! Yay! Hope it does well in my tank.

Went with De wei and all 3 of us were having a talk about fishy stuff. Yx would have hated reef2's tank, although by hobby standards it really is a masterpiece. Fully Acropora, yx! I don't really love it though, it's too cramped. You can't see any sand, half the tank's front panel is covered by coralline algae so you can't see through. And again crowded with fish. But his calcium reactor -WOW! He's one rich ass .. bought the 2nd largest Deltec model ($1.2k + if I'm not wrong) and the diameter of it was like a small barrel. Semi-automated too! Connected to a Milwaukee Instruments pH controller, with TUBBY auto top-off and an older version of Nilsen reactor that uses water pumps for recirculation instead of a magnetic stir bar. Still .. it's pretty cool.

Going to wait for my halides' timer to kick off and shall watch the tank for a while ... it's tiresome work, reading through articles.
