In this month, I bought my most expensive fish ever (Chevron Tang) - and today, I came home with the most expensive coral my tank's ever had. There must be something wrong with me. Compulsive Spending Syndrome perhaps. But it wasn't compulsive ... it was quite a deal actually. The thing has more than 20 polyps on it, and polyp-for-polyp, it's exactly the same price as the common orange Ricordea yuma mushroom coral.

Yep, that's right .. tah dah ... my newly-acquired Acanthastrea lordhowensis on the right ...

OK, I'm just trying to justify my splurging. Crap ...

What's more, I bought a galaxy coral and a small pink-tipped plate coral(OK, those were fair .. average coral pricing )

The bloody acans lord had better survive. I still want to frag it and sell the offspring to recoup some of the losses. Looks a little bleached, but hopefully it'll be ok...
