A little surprise amongst all this gloom, a litte silver lining to my stormcloud.

Was pacing the garden one night when I caught sight of this surprise - the Sandersonia plant, which I thought had all but perished from the snail attack. Bought the bulb in Chicago, and they never sprouted in the garden. Then I chance upon this lone one growing in an ectopic position, what a pleasant discovery! Pretty happy about this, it's cool to have an African plant in the garden.
