Still worried about brownie, I think the ulcer will take time to heal but he still looks to be uncomfortable with that eye. =(

Finally got a bit of sun today - I SWEAR the sun at the beach is different. Maybe it's the extra light from reflection off the sea, but I turned a few shades darker in a couple of hours.

Made a detour down to another beach and collected some seaweed for the refugium. Got small bunches of 4 species, including a nice grape Caulerpa that I hope survives. Bunch of kids down at the beach with their 3 teachers, I wanted to scold them. IRRITATING FREAKS. They were catching things like hermit crabs and overturning rocks and NOT PUTTING THEM BACK. It's one thing to collect animals if you can keep them alive - it's quite another when they end up being murdered. Enter Disney's "Nemo".

I was glad one of the kids got splashed by the waves. If one fell in and got cut on the rocks, even better. That'd teach those pesky teachers not to bring a whole bunch of kids to such places. Ahh .. I can now see in my mind ... a scream echoing from one of them, "The snail bit me!!" and he holds up ... a textile cone shell. SWEET. See you at the A&E. Where I think there's no antivenom for cones.
