Suicide - or therapy?

Down with a raging flu, with the entire constellation of symptoms! Rhinnorhoea, productive cough, myalgia, arthralgia, pyrexia, malaise, retro-orbital ache, loss of appetite - you name it, I've got it. Had this strong urge to blade last night though, so I trooped down for a bit of skating. Well, I *think* it did me good. Slightly better today! My entire waste bin's overflowing with 2 rolls' worth of tissue paper.

Why am I up at this unearthly hour on a Sunday morning? Well, meeting yx at 6am to go down to Chek Jawa with her friends. Tanny very kindly helped us get 2 places, so although I'm like smack in the middle of tests, it's not nice to turn her down since places are so difficult to get (actually, it's the guided tours that have a queue .. but *ah hem* ... I don't really care for a guide I think. I probably know most of the flora and fauna there by their latin names even ...)

Anyway, female pms is scary.

My fav coral hangout, Aquaria Art, just sms'ed me about a new shipment but I had to give this one a go since I've already indulged in something quite out of character ... I wanted to buy that pair of Nike shades, but by (good?) chance it was out of stock when I arrived yesterday. Ended up with a pair of Oakleys. =D Only 30 dollars more than what I expected to fork out for the Nike anyway. It's the newer BottleCap design with crystal black frames and black irridium lenses, and it was a little like Harry Potter and his wand. Tried the ENTIRE range of Oakley glasses and when I finally put these on, both yx's and the shopkeeper's faces simply lit up. Oh and btw, if you're looking for good service and candid opinions on which shades suit you, I highly recommend Ideal Optics at HarbourFront. The man wasn't pushy - he took the trouble to find something that actually suits me perfectly. Kudos to him for good service!
