Ah, a pic to make the ICU blush. All my yada yadas.

pH controller can be seen in the foreground - the one with red digits. Spent 2 hours last night calibrating the damn thing, the little cup on the floor is to store the calibration solution and plain water for flushing. Gosh .. thankfully I've tidied up all the wires and whatnot, so now it looks much more presentable - and the pH controller is now proudly attached to the left side of the tank (I just can't resist putting the damn thing out to show off in the living room ... it's way too cool)
