Oooh, beginner's class was quite a hit tonight, with about 40 people! Well, well. =D Surprisingly there were a few people from med in the class, 2 of whom are M4s and 3 M1s. Felt really embarrassed social dancing in front of people I know, actually. What's more, yx and I attempted a super-high Russian Kick, and due to my extreme brute force, the poor girl got a shock and couldn't land properly. OOOOOPS.

Feeling odd now actually. A mixture of stuff. Extremes. Elation, at the class' success; and yet a nagging feeling inside which I just can't lay my finger on. Perhaps some good mugging will kick that feeling aside. Thinking of going for a nice formal date this sat, it's been so long. OK, never mind ... personal stuff. Still reminiscing about the lovely raw oyster-Bloody Mary shots. Yes, perhaps that'll do. And if I manage to obtain fresh oysters, I might even do it at home. I do concoct rather a mean glass of Bloody Mary, if I may say so myself! OK, minus that one occasion a month back. I ran out of Tabasco and used generous dashes of ground pepper instead - my worst ever cocktail.

Hmm .. talking about cocktails. =D Something interesting's coming up!! A new invention of mine, I lovingly call it Love Potion No. 9 (does anyone still remember that song?) but I'm not sure if that name has been taken. Basically, a pleasant mix of loads of ice, iced lemon tea, lime cordial, King Robert II dry vodka, Bombay sapphire dry gin, a dash of single highland malt whiskey and melted blueberry jam. As potent as Long Island Tea (got knocked out for 3 hours during the weekend actually - post Anaesthesia trauma celebrations ... ) but smoother, sweet, but not effeminate-looking (*cough* magaritas *cough*). Shall take a pic one day! It's fantastic for something made up on a whim.

Wish cocktail alcohols were cheaper though. I don't care tuppence about idiots who abuse alcohol, but cocktail-mixing is fun. Creative. Disastrous, sometimes. Ahh .. imagine a whole arsenal of white rum, tequila, bourbon and some of the exotics like granadine and peach whiskey (which ... oh dear. I'm ashamed to be reminded. Several years ago - 4, I think - Nik and I finished a whole 6-pack, half a bottle of Port and an entire bottle of peach whiskey. Good times.) A unit of alcohol a week keeps my blood vessels patent.

Right ... nagging feeling's back again. Shall go for a long, long, long hot shower?
