Very upset with myself. Did impulse buying again yesterday. All I wanted to do, was to buy $2 worth of live shrimp for Snowy the ghost eel (real original name ...) and I ended up carrying home $50 worth of fish. I couldn't resist. Wait till I post the pics though ... bought 1 sailfin tang (Indo-Pacific variety) and 1 look-down fish! The latter's a real beauty, but I honestly am not sure if it's the right choice. For one, it still only eats live shrimp, and also it's a tad too large for my tank. And what I mean by "too large" is that it looks out of proportion to this bonsai mimic of a real ocean. I could get my parents to fall in love with it, it's the perfect excuse to get my dream 12-foot reef tank. No no .. the electricity bills for that will KILL me.

Anyway, had a pretty good National Day. Started off with the abovementioned impulse buying, then a national day performance at Singapore Art Museum. I must say, it was well-executed! Took the train for the first time in many moons. Then, had dinner at Prima Tower revolving restaurant, where we had a magnificent view of all the fireworks going on later. Price tag wasn't pretty though. It wasn't pretty at all. I'd much rather my dad spent it on a nice Beckett skimmer for me. But .. alas, no.

Woke at 6 this morning, only to discover that school's not due till 10.30. EXCELLENT. =(
