Gross day yesterday, notebook threatened to die on me, forgot to bring coat, tutor was frightfully enthusiastic, and I saw no deliveries (no surprises here. Some nurses are plain anal.)
Both of us started an interesting blog, it's a ridiculous idea but hey .. it's fun. Might get into trouble, but hope not. I need to brush up the disclaimer before it's unveiled. Having fun with D2, we each have 1 character. They're not on battlenet, but rather single player. Mine's Mr. Pogostick, level 50 Hammerdin. Maxed Blessed Hammer, starting to max out its support skills - Concentration and Blessed Aim, but it's starting to get boring. Not much to look forward to till level 62 when I get Harlequin Crest and 65 for Heart of The Oak. Right now he's using:
Helm - Peasant Crown
Amulet - The Eye of Elitch
Armour - Skin of the Vipermagi
Weapon - Suicide Branch wand
Shield - Herald of Zakarum with "Um" rune in it
Belt - Gloom's Trap
Boots - Treads of Cthon
Rings - 2 x Stone of Jordan
Yx's character is Pangaea, level 29 Windy druid. He's aiming for level 30 to get the skill Hurricane before taking on Diablo, but right now his damage is sweet.
Helm - Peasant Crown
Amulet - The Eye of Elitch
Armour - Skin of the Vipermagi
Weapon - Spectral Shard
Shield - "Rhyme" runeword
Belt - Nightsmoke
Boots - Treads of Cthon
Rings - 2 x Stone of Jordan
Not sure what Pangaea's end-game equipment should be, but I'm thinking Jalal's Mane for the helm, Mara's Kalaeidoscope for amulet, "Enigma" runeword for armour, Heart of the Oak for weapon and Aracnhnid Mesh for belt.
Visit Diablo II.net for explanation of terms. =D
OK, ranting again. Thing is, I've really got nothing better to do. OK, I do. But notes? Sigh. Life's drab at the moment. Little to look forward to, and have to resort to the simple pleasures of life. A bit of quality companionship here and there, a nice cuppa alone in the doctor's lounge early afternoon, battery of low-AI monsters for a while every evening. And of course, yakking away in the crowded isolation of the Net. Yep, that's my weekday life, in a nutshell. The weekends .. ahh ... now that's different. But alas, it's 4 days away. 4 long, dreary days, if I might add. I miss e-med. Not that nothing adrenaline-spiking ever happens though - a Code Blue was activated yesterday at noon (someone collapsed), but that's it. I didn't even go.
