I hereby proclaim that sisters rock!! With XX's help this afternoon, the both of us finished the remaining 2 walls in mom's bathroom! She's off to eat meatballs at IKEA with her friend now, so I'll just finish up the flooring and install the lights. Mariah has been a brick too - she helped to caulk up the entire shared bathroom, so now the whole toilet is seamless! Yep .. you can't use grout to seal up the edges where the wall meets the floor, or the area where the toilet/washbasin meets the floor/wall respectively, so gotta use caulk. All starting to look good!
And I've just had full approval from all my sisters to install a set of shower curtains in their bathroom, and I think XX might be coming up with some tile stickers to liven the room up.
Phew. All tired out, but REALLY worth it. Nice "new" toilets to have long hot baths in at last.
Also, came back with 3 colonies of Dendrophyllia. Yeah, most of them were smaller than the frickin' $25-a-polyp ones I bought, but I managed to snag a total of 12 big polyps (the other reefers are only going tonight! nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah!! I took all the big pieces!!) at only $5 a polyp. Ahhhhhhhh. I smell victory. =D
Being competitive again. Well, acclimatising them to lights right now, and going to wait till my Kent Marine Nautilus feeding prongs to arrive before I release the Dendrophyllia into my main tank. It ain't fun to reach 30 inches deep into salt water just to fed them a few morsels of shrimp. The Nautilus feeding prongs are basically just extremely long turkey basters. Makes target feeding of corals a breeze. I hope.
