Ordered my wood, grand total of $39 which is unexpectedly cheap, but still have to factor in wood glue, waterproofing sealant and dye. Have quite a nasty feeling about making it myself.

And got a little upset after trying to learn samba walk and this other circular volta from the Blackpool convention CD. Those people are GOOD. I do not have the hip action that seems to be innate to those latinos and latinas. Time to do something really drastic to lose those extra pounds and get the hips moving. We were just joking about doing the Roll - the man has to touch his stomach to the woman's, but I was saying this shouldn't be a problem .. mine will extend to touch the woman's belly anyway. Eeeeeeks. And I can make light of this thing, I don't believe it. First sign of acceptance, so this idea has to go.
