Right, 2 days after I bought my frickin' Dendrophyllia, the exact same shop announced a huge sale, including Dendrophyllia at only $5 a polyp!!! OMG. I'm slightly pissed off. Going down on Friday anyway, and I can only hope the ones on sale are much tinier than the ones I bought! Muahahahaha. DIE.

So, what's been going on? Well, to cap it all, I've been spending 8-10 hours a day alternating between 2 of the toilets at home. The shared toilet has been nicely re-grouted and sealed with silicone, and awaiting more improvement by Mr. Mario (yours truly). The master bedroom's toilet has been fucked. Why?

1) Tiles are severely stained with hard water deposits, mildew, and other stuff I do not really want to know about. There's no turning back from such tiles; bleach and peroxide both refuse to work, and I was about to re-tile the bathroom when I realised that my parents did not stock any spare tiles. Excellent. Going to resort to phosphoric acid sometime down the road.

2) Re-grouted 2 sides of the walls, honestly they DID look lovely, but I left it unattended for 6 hours while I had a fly time purchasing stuff for the toielts. And now it's solidified concrete, WTF. I'm going to have to spend the whole of today UNDOING my work!! ARGHHHH!!!!

On a lighter note, I think my sisters are really pleased with the shared toilet; XX even offered to help me with grouting the walls! =) Also bought a glass shelf to hold all the shampoos, just have to find the strength (and wait for my poor LBP to recover) before I do some concrete-drilling. Taking measurements tomorrow of the shower area, going to install these really nice-looking wire shower-curtain-slings.

And bought a new toilet lamp for my parents' bathroom, it sure looks much better than the current one.

I really don't figure how anyone could bear to use such scary toilets. My hair stand on end every time I use them, seriously .. although yx says there's nothing wrong with the bathrooms and I'm probably suffering from a severe case of obsessive-compulsive syndrome, I beg to differ. OOoh, time to wipe down my keyboard with chlorhexadine! Oops. =D
