Crocodile on the prowl

Crocodile pipefish. I like the way it crawls among the rocks instead of swimming around.

Unfortunately, I woke up today to find him as anemone food. The silly thing can't recognise anemones as dangerous, which IME is something common amongst all of the seahorse family. Sucks. =(
