Where's everything?!

Frantic packing, hah. Although I do have a few more days left, but I *know* I'm going to start rushing at the end. Forget this, forget that. Forget plane ticket, forget passport, forget socks. That kind of thing. And loads of domestic affairs to settle too (pets and plants).

Now, about the bowling. It's been like .. 6 years at least since I last tried? So, I told M. that I'm no good at all at this stuff. Shock #1 - he remembers my name. The last and only time we talked much was during the O&G posting, otherwise it's just a greeting when we run into each other at Coffee Grounds. (Shame that non-med students don't get the pun of this coffee place's name.) Talk about being creepy. I forget people's names within 2 days. And somehow, the balls actually end up hitting the pins. Most of the pins. And M. just couldn't resist teasing about the Cheat Who Claimed He Can't Bowl through the entire evening. Bleargh. He's a smart guy, but not very fun to be with. Poor yx. Imagine getting stuck with him for another 4 years.

Half-thinking of going shopping for more clothes. I'm definitely short on shorts, so unless I wear boxers ONLY and have them as shorts, I'm going to have to go starkers over there. New socks are needed too.

Mr. Ye, I want those widgets! Are they Mac-only?!? The Apple site is killing me. MacBook Pro 17" 2.16GHz ... $4988!! I need to pimp myself out to buy this baby. Too many wants, too little money (actually, NO money). And there's that MP3 player I've been drooling over, and that PDA phone. I'm drowing in drool.
