Ben Nevis

HPIM0744, originally uploaded by Hongyee.

Britain's tallest mountain as seen at the village of Corpach, just a little off Fort William. I was standing off the last lock of Neptune's Staircase while taking this picture, which is a series of several mini dams along the Caledonian Canal that connect from Inverness all the way to Fort William. A bit of the saltwater Loch Linnhe is in the pic, and on the far right (beware strained eyes!) is the town of Fort William, nestled right at the foot of some mountains. Beautifully misty morning with dramatic rolling clouds to take pics of Ben Nevis!
